The answer is No. Messi & Ronaldo are different kind of players and their styles don’t complement each other. They won’t make a good pair on the pitch.
The biggest problem is that neither of them stick to a position, they both free roam – Messi more so than Ronaldo. It’s beneficial to have a man free roam & take the best position for that time of game, but it will be positional disaster if two forwards do it. Plus they both add nothing to defense, they rarely ever track back, can’t have two forwards slacking on their defensive duties in modern day football.

2 – EPL is a more popular league than La Liga which also contributed in Ronaldo’s popularity to some extent… Messi never played in EPL.
